Artisan Pewter and Polymer Clay Sterling Silver Earrings

in: Earrings

Texture - my favorite element of any piece of jewelry!  These earrings feature highly textured, hand cast, lead free pewter charms - by artists Inviciti - which have beautifully detailed leaves embedded within each charm. The hand applied patina - slightly antiqued but still shiny like silver - is my new favorite patina from their shop. It works beautifully with the sterling silver.

I topped these charms with exquisitely detailed Handmade Flower Beads in Magenta and Gold - by Artist Selena Anne Wells.  To pick up the golden hue she applied to these beads, I added a touch of gold through the use of both beads and bead caps. The end result are earrings with beautiful flowers and leaves!

These mixed metal earrings measure approximately 2 3/4" in length from the top of the hand forged, Argentium Sterling Silver ear wires to the bottom of the pewter charms.

Polymer clay and pewter are not at all heavy - lightweight as a matter of fact. These earrings are very comfortable to wear all day long!

Jewelry is made using traditional metalworking techniques, including soldering, filing, sanding, texturing, polishing, and tumbling in my home studio. Jewelry comes wrapped in a cotton-lined gift box and ships quickly. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

NOTE: 100% of the proceeds from the sale of these earrings will be donated to Miracle Horse Rescue, a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for helping me help those who cannot help themselves!
