Amethyst Nuggets with Artisan Pewter Cross Necklace and Earrings

Amethyst Nuggets with Artisan Pewter Cross Necklace and Earrings - My all-time favorite art pieces from Vincent and Nooma Cav of Inviciti are emblazoned with a Cross symbol. Their lead-free, completely handmade pendants and charms are obviously new - but their artistry and finishes makes these gems appear rustic, well worn, and loved. I wire wrapped the pendant in sterling silver to a filigree-style bail - simple, but still elegant just the same.

The color purple has been associated with Royalty, including Christianity. It seemed appropriate to pair this beautiful cross pendant with Amethyst.  The stone cutter took advantage of the natural inclusions in these gemstones, as the facets catch the light just so perfectly! Each gemstone is flanked with a 4mm square sterling silver bead, and the necklace closes with a simple clasp, which I forged from heavy gauge sterling silver, and soldered closed for added security. The opposing ring closure is not an open ring, but again, soldered closed for permanency.

The necklace measures 19" in length - the Amethyst gemstones range in size from 5x8mm to 1-13mm in length.  The complete pendant measures just under 2 3/4" in length.

I have added a simple pair of earrings to this listing, comprised of two Amethyst Faceted nuggets flanked with sterling silver beads. The leverback style ear wires are just slightly sparkly, as they are encrusted with tiny CZ's. The earrings measure just under 1 1/2" in length.

Other than the Artisan Pewter Pendant (lead and cadmium free), all metals used in this design are .925 sterling silver, .

This is beautiful statement necklace to be enjoyed for years to come!
