Textured Thick Sterling Silver Bangle- Sized Medium- This listing is for a very thick (5.2mm) sterling silver bangle, to which I have added a hammered texture. It is a laborious process to form metal of this thickness, as the metal requires multiple annealing (heating with the flame to soften) and cleaning sessions. Once forged into shape, I have polished the bangle by hand, darkened the metal, then polished, leaving just a bit of patina on the sterling silver to highlight the texture. This sterling silver bangle is substantial enough to wear solo on the arm, but it also looks amazing when or stacked with oyur own bracelets and bangles!
This bangle is sized medium, and has an outer circumference of 8 1/2" and an inside diameter of approximately 2 3/4. Please be sure to zoom in on the photos to see all the beautiful details!
All metals used in this design are solid .925 sterling silver and the bangle contains just over 50 grams of silver (or 1 3/4 ounces).
Jewelry is made using traditional metalworking techniques, including soldering, filing, sanding, texturing, polishing, and tumbling in my home studio. Jewelry comes wrapped in a cotton-lined gift box and ships quickly. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
