Sterling Silver Necklace with Purple Artisan Glass and Tourmaline Gemstones

Sterling Silver Necklace with Purple Artisan Glass and Tourmaline Gemstones - It's funny how this necklace came to be.  I had the beautiful handcrafted lampwork glass cabochon (from artist Mikelene Reusse) in my stash, along with Pink Tourmaline and Pink Lepidolite Combination Gemstones (which actually appear on the Lavender color scale) for quite some time. The cabochon is amazing, a true artist's rendition of a flower in bloom.  But, I recently acquired a strand of artisan made glass beads (from artist Jody Ellen Brimhall).  Each ingredient of this necklace plays off the colors of each other so very well!

The pendant is crafted in solid sterling silver and measures 1 1/2" in length by 1 1/8" in width at its widest point.  The necklace measures 20 1/2" in length, and features sterling silver beads flanking each bead, and a sterling silver chain that fastens securely with a lobster clasp. Please be sure to zoom in on the photos to see the details of these gorgeous beads- up close and personal.

This beautiful sterling silver necklace is sure to be treasured for years to come.

All metals used in this necklace and earrings are .925 sterling silver.
