Sterling Silver Bracelet with Amethyst and Artisan Glass Beads- The idea for this bracelet began with the gorgeous artisan glass lampwork beads, made by artist Jody Ellen Brimhall. Glorious shades of purples and lavenders, punctuated with flecks of gold. I handcrafted a hollow bead, comprised of hand cut sterling silver sheet and wire. The hollow bead has two decorative sides - one with an 8mm Amethyst Cabochon, and the flip side with a decorative concho. Because let's face it - bracelets flip on the arm! This way, there is beauty all around!
Each lampwork bead is flanked with sterling silver caps and beads. The adjustable bracelet fastens securely with a sterling silver lobster clasp into any of the links on the 1" long extender chain. I added a few hand wrapped charms to the extender chain, featuring amethyst rounds, sterling silver beads, and a tiny sterling charm with a purple crystal.
The bracelet measures approximately 8 1/2" in length, including the 1" extender chain. As an example of fit, my wrist measures 6" in diameter and the bracelet fits perfectly when fastened to the first link in the extender chain.
I have taken some close-up images of the beads - please be sure to zoom in on the photos to see the incredible beauty up close and personal.
All metals used in this bracelet are .925 sterling silver.
