Spiny Oyster and Sterling Silver Pendant

in: Necklace

Spiny Oyster and Sterling Silver Pendant  Spiny Oyster - its name is intriguing! It's actually a shell, and can be found in a variety of shades ranging from yellow, orange, red and purple in the waters of the Western Atlantic Ocean, Gulf of Mexico, and the Caribbean Sea. This particular mandarin orange colored specimen is laced with a shimmering copper - so beautiful in person!

I have set this beautiful stone in sterling silver. The first layer beneath the stone has been roll printed with a fine, lacy texture, which sits atop a perfectly smooth layer of sterling silver. I have wrapped two sterling silver orbs to the bottom of the pendant for just a bit of movement.

The pendant measures 2" in length by 7/8" in width, and hangs from an 18" long, 1.8,mm oval beaded chain, which, which closes securely with a sterling silver, lobster-style clasp.

The last photo illustrates the Spiny Oyster Pendant with a pair of coordinating earrings, also available here in my shop. (This listing is solely for the purchase of the Pendant Necklace)

All metals used in this design are .925 sterling silver.
