Spiny Oyster and Purple Mojave Turquoise Sterling Silver Earrings

in: Earrings

Spiny Oyster and Purple Mojave Turquoise Sterling Silver Earrings-  So...what is Spiny Oyster and Purple Mojave Turquoise?  Spiny Oyster comes from an actual oyster shell, and is combined with Blue Kingman Turquoise that is dyed purple and then put through a bronze fusion process that creates a bronze color to the matrix. It is then formed and polished.  These two cabochons in this set of earrings are nothing short of stunning - vibrant colors with a lustrous bronze hue.

The earrings have been set in sterling silver, surrounded with a rope of sterling silver beaded wire.  The silver has been darkened, and polished by hand to bring out the highlights. These are post style earrings, which include a sterling silver ear nut for a secure closure.

These one of a kind earrings measure approximately 1"  in length.
