Ribbon Turquoise and Sterling Silver Cuff

Ribbon Turquoise and Sterling Silver Cuff - Ribbon Turquoise (also known as Boulder Turquoise or Boulder Ribbon Turquoise) is mined in Northeast Nevada. Host rocks for the turquoise deposits are limestone, shale, chert, volcanic and sedimentary rocks. The turquoise normally forms
narrow veins or small nodules along altered zones in host rock, and the stone cutter then creates these fabulous cabochons.

The cuff is formed from heavy (8 gauge) square sterling silver wire, which I hand textured on 3 sides.  The turquoise cabochon is surrounded by flattened sterling silver bead wire, and a tiny flower which I hand crafted from a technique called Water Casting.  The sterling silver has been darkened and polished by hand to bring out the highlights.  This is truly a one-of-a-kind cuff to be worn enjoyed for years!

This cuff bracelet measures 6" in length, from end to end, with a 1" opening, and will comfortably fit wrists with a diameter up to 6 3/4" in diameter.

NOTE: This cuff bracelet is NOT adjustable - continual "squeezing" of the silver can lead to breakage.

All metals used in this bracelet are .925 sterling silver.
