Ocean and Kambaba Jasper Gemstone Necklace and Earrings

Ocean and Kambaba Jasper Gemstone Necklace and Earrings-  When I was in my 20's, I lived in the small, quaint town of Poulsbo, Washington - located on the Kitsap Peninsula, with a view of the Cascade Mountains out one window, and Mount Rainier out the other. Heaven!. During my way-to-short time here, I had the pleasure of visiting some of Mother Nature's most amazing creations, one of which is the Hoh Rain Forest in Olympic National Park. Two different variations of jasper comprise this necklace - Ocean and Kambaba. The colors in these gems instantly brought me back to this little paradise on earth. "Earthy" is an understatement! Please zoom in on the photos - each bead is stunning!

Ocean Jasper is found in only one place in the world - Madagascar. Kambaba Jasper is found along the Southern Coast of South Africa and also Madagascar - the two gemstones together are a natural fit. The necklace combines varying sizes of coin and rondelle shaped beads, interspersed with antique brass, which complements the yellow and brown undertones in the Ocean Jasper.

The necklace measures approximately 22" in length, including the 2" brass extender chain, and closes securely with an antique brass lobster-style clasp.. I have added a pair of coordinating earrings to this listing, comprised of the smaller Kambaba Jasper and Brass findings. Slender and lightweight, the earrings measure approximately 1 3/4" in length and are suspended from antique brass french-style ear wires.

Jewelry is made using traditional metalworking techniques, including soldering, filing, sanding, texturing, polishing, and tumbling in my home studio.  Jewelry comes wrapped in a cotton-lined gift box and ships quickly.  Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

NOTE:  100% of the proceeds from the sale of these earrings will be donated to Miracle Horse Rescue, a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization. From the bottom of my heart, thank you for helping me help those who cannot help themselves!
