Double Twisted Sterling Silver Cuff

Double Twisted Sterling Silver Cuff  Next to bangles, cuff's are my favorite piece of jewelry to wear, and to make! This cuff began with a nice thick piece of square sterling wire, which I twisted. I then combined this twist with heavy gauge (10 gauge) sterling silver wire, and twisted the two metals into one. The texture is amazing! To finish off and smooth the ends, I forged two "end caps" from sterling silver, and soldered them onto the cuff. This is a style that looks great alone, or stacked with multiple bangles and bracelets and worn all together!

I forged this bangle into an oval shape -- that's the shape of my wrist and I find this shape very comfortable to wear. It has been darkened and polished by hand to achieve a gorgeous brushed / satin patina.

This cuff is sized for the average wrist. The length of the metal is approximately 6 1/4" - it has an inside diameter of 2 1/2" x 2" (it is an oval), with an opening of approximately 1".  The cuff is slightly adjustable by squeezing ever so slightly once it is on the wrist.

All metals used in this cuff bracelet are .925 sterling silver.

Jewelry is made using traditional metalworking techniques, including soldering, filing, sanding, texturing, polishing, and tumbling in my home studio. Jewelry comes wrapped in a cotton-lined gift box and ships quickly. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.
